When I was in high school I wanted to study fashion design and I ended up studying Environmental Engineering.
While working as an engineer, I was dreaming of sewing ALL day!
So I started taking pattern making and sewing courses after work. After buying my first sewing machine, I decided to move to Buenos Aires, Argentina to study design.
When I returned to Colombia in 2015, I created my first clothing brand for plus-size women. Two years later, I had the opportunity to do the first plus size catwalk at Colombiamoda 2017.

After working on that brand for a few years, I decided to do what I had always wanted: mix my two passions, environmental engineering and fashion, and that is how Primitiva was born.
To those times where everything we used came from nature, and we didn't need much. Where industrial processes did not exist on a large scale.
We use natural fibers that are biodegradable. We create basic garments that you can wear for a long time and that you can easily mix with your entire wardrobe.

All our pieces are made of linen, a very fresh and comfortable fiber, and we use natural dyes for some of our pieces.
